Start in the hanseatic town of Lubeck to the somewhat hilly surroundings of Holstein’s Switzerland to Flensburg. Pass by old harbour towns steeped in history and the beautiful sandy beaches in Timmendorf and Scharbeutz. Best to pack your swimming gear to take advantage of the beaches. Accommodation with breakfasts and daily luggage transfer from hotel to hotel. Each room will be supplied with comprehensive travel information and maps. Included also is the boat trip Lahoe to Falckenstein including bike and Glucksburg to Flensburg including bike (does not run Mondays in April, May, September and October). Total cycling distance between 325 and 340 km. Cycling mainly on level ground, sometimes slightly hilly, mostly on quiet country roads, cycle paths, field and forest trails and occasionally on sandy tracks, paths with concrete slabs and on cobblestones. Your route is not always along the coast.
