The route landscape changes where the Saar River mouths into the Moselle as the wine growing becomes more and more prominent. The Moselle winds its way downstream towards Koblenz where it runs into the Rhine River and your tour ends. There are many little towns and ancient narrow street villages along this route and Trier which is another UNESCO World Heritage City which still has the remains of Roman times 2000 years ago.
