A cycling tour along the Moselle cycle route not only makes a wine connoisseur’s heart beat faster. The Moselle is one of the most diverse and loveliest river valleys in Europe with its numerous picturesque river loops, vine covered slopes, romantic wine towns and historic cities. Numerous restaurants, mostly built out of stone or framework, allow for rest and relaxation and for the leisurely enjoyment of the local culinary specialties and the mild wine. The collaboration of the inhabitants of the border triangle France-Germany-Luxemburg which began early and demonstrates a peaceful cohabitation to the rest of the world, still shows in hospitality and openness today.
