This hiking tour crosses some of the most famous vineyards in the world. A mix of landscape beauty, oenological pleasure and cultural discoveries. A 7 day tour also availalble. Accommodation with 5 dinners (quarter liter of wine and cafe included). Route notes and transfer of luggage at every step including taxi transfers from Bordeaux and two small transfers during the stay. Visit and tasting 4-5 wines in the Couvent des Jacobins on the 8 day tour. Plus a guided visit of Saint-Emilion on the 8 day tour. For the visit of the wine Chateau, you will have to telephone directly to the Chateau the day before to arrange an approximate time of arrival. Total hiking distance between 58 and 71 km. Route has varied landscapes, alternating footpaths across vines and woods, edges of rivers and minor roads, without forgetting stopovers in wine producers.
