Picturesque villages follow one another like little pearls along the Alsace Wine Route for about 170 km. In some of these villages time even seems to have stood still since the middle ages. Naturally this tour is about wine: Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Gewürtzraminetr and Sylvaner, but about gastronomy as well: Munster cheese, Sauerkraut, Baeckeoffe, Kougelhopf and tarte flambée. Your trip will start in Strasbourg, the capital city of Europe and you will cycle through the three beautiful cities of Colmar, Mulhouse and Basel.
