France – Germany – Nancy to Koblenz Cycle Along the Moselle (2025)

11 Days 10 Nights

At over 500 km, the Moselle is the second longest tributary of the Rhine. The largest part of the Moselle’s course is through France. On the first stages the landscape is characterised by gravel quarries and ponds, and outside of the larger settlements, it remains little developed for tourism. The impressive towns Nancy and Metz are waiting to be discovered. The route then continues through the border triangle between France, Germany and Luxembourg. The well-known section of the narrow Moselle valley begins shortly before Trier. For the last stages you will always be accompanied by lovely vineyards and breath-taking landscapes. The more than 2000-year-old Roman history is omnipresent. The small historical towns and the pretty villages always invite you to taste the fruity Moselle wines. On this bike tour you will get to know the Moselle from all sides.
