Germany: Salt-Alpensteig Path 11 Hiking Tour 8 days and 7 nights' accommodation with breakfasts and daily luggage transfer. Welcome meeting. Included is the cable car ascent Karkogel (approx mid-June to mid-September, out of season is a two hour hike), cable car ascent Gosaukamm and Salzbergbahn Hallstadt, boat ride on Lake Hallstattersee and train rides as per the itinerary. Route is carefully planned with detailed tour documents. Service hotline there as back up. Distance approximately 94 km. Route is on scenic and well-maintained hiking trails with several longer ascents. Wonderful alpine pastures, great views and heights. On old salt paths and starting on magnificent Lake Konigssee set amidst national park Berchtesgaden. Plus so many experiences from visiting well known salt towns of Berchtesgaden and Hallein to seeing the prehistoric salt mining town of Hallein.
