Welcome drink and barge + crew presentation and briefing the first evening. Multilingual tour leader with daily evening briefings about the next day's route. Participants should be in reasonable physical condition. Tour start either in Paris not far from the Notre Dame going south or the picturesque town of Montargis going north. This region has a rich, royal history and the castle Fontainbleau is a magnificent example of the past. Tour goes by the woods of Fontainbleau heading for the artist village of Barbizon in one direction.
