We loved the trip. All went well, perfect weather and lots of beautiful Rhine countryside and sights. Also since it was festival/carnival season it seemed that the same tents, rides and bratwurst followed us from town to town! My e-bike was a big hit, in fact I am in the process of getting my city bike converted. Their bikes are much lighter, being based on a front wheel motor, not pedal assist. Only about 42 pounds instead of over 100, a big advantage for car or bus transportation. As a first biking trip, we were thrilled. Thanks for all your help and recommendations!
